Formspring 101

Posted on 26-12-2010

One of the things I love about Twitter is how you can observe certain trends as they spread out into the Twitterverse. One of the more recent epidemics is people posting their replies from Formspring onto Twitter. Now Formspring is a website where you sign up and your friends (and strangers) can ask you questions. Remember those long-ass emails that people would send around with fifty questions you had to answer and then forward back? Well apparently someone thought it was a great idea to take that idea and make a complete website about it.

Now even though I didn’t mind answering those emails as they came from my friends, I’m sitting here reading the replies that people are posting on Twitter and I’m honestly bored out of my skull. Can’t people be a bit more imaginative with their responses? So to counteract this tidal wave of stagnant replies, I lifted some questions off from some friends and decided to put in my own answers. Read at your own peril (and entertainment):

If you had to be a reaper for a day, would you take people’s lives or save everyone?
Kill the bitches.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
Plaid.

What was the weirdest gift you ever received?
A picture Bible at my Communion with Eve’s bits censored out. Luckily they left Adam alone!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
For a long time I wanted to be a chef, but that idea died quickly once I discovered computers.

If you could have invented one thing, what would it have been?
Rechargeable vibrators. Seriously.

If you won a million dollars what would you do with it?
Give it all to Angelina Jolie and say “See how many kids you can bag with this”

If you could have been the author of any book, what would it have been?
The Bible.

Is Lady Gaga a man?
Honey that’s like asking if I’m a woman. Which I will neither confirm nor deny.

If you could ask George Bush one question, what would it be?
Were you born this stupid or did your parents make you take lessons?

Go ahead – ask me anything 😉
